Payday regrets, spring clean and secret projects

Payday regrets, spring clean and secret projects

  1. I've been working at my job (green spaces development officer at Oxford City Council) for over a year now. And I've gotten into a bit of a habit of looking forward to payday and... spending most of my "personal" money then and there. Anyhoo, this month's purchase wasn't a win. This vegan leather trench is HUGE (tip for next time: believe the reviews)! So I'll be returning it. Which is a bit of a bummer as I had featured it in my spring capsule wardrobe and was looking forward to wearing it. Any good trench coat recommendations? Ideally waterproof.
  2. Speaking of capsule wardrobes, the listing that seems to get the most views in my Etsy store is my summer 2020 capsule wardrobe... Maybe because it says "sustainable and ethical"? I was thinking of creating capsule wardrobes that go with each of the colour analysis seasons (e.g. soft summer, deep autumn etc.). Is that something you'd be interested in? Or should I just create one for each season (of the year, not colour analysis seasons... confusing I know haha)? Any other ideas?
  3. And lastly I'm having a bit of a spring clean... but not of my home! Though I should definitely do that... But by the time I get to Saturday afternoon, all I want to do is lie on the sofa and listen to my three-year-old make up stories with his toys.
Anyhoo, I've been pulled in lots of different directions with what I do online (#shinyobjectsyndrome), but I've now put together a streamlined plan. And that involves YouTube! Something I've secretly wanted to do for a long time... If you want to help me out: please subscribe so that you can get the first videos that come out + hit reply and tell me what you'd love to see me talk about.

Hi! I'm Jessica.

Hi Reader, How are you doing today? I think our family is almost through the cold that has been slowing us all down and making us a bit grumpier haha. We had a bit of a scare as my partner partially lost his sense of taste, but we both tested negative for COVID so who nose (get it... 👃). Anyway, moving swiftly on from the terrible jokes, I don't have a podcast episode to send you this week. I just wasn't feeling confident on Monday (when I normally record my podcast), so I spent the day...

Hi Reader, How are you doing today? My little boys have a cold, so I'm writing you this email while feeling already a bit tired (and it's only 2 o'clock haha). Hopefully they'll be better by the time I send you next week's email! 🤞 Anyway, I recently recorded a podcast episode about what to invest in for your business to be a success. I'll share it below if you want to give it a listen! But in the meantime, I'd like to know your opinion. At the beginning of the episode, I chatted about *when*...
